After completing immigration and baggage formalities, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome by our local representative. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and take some time to relax and settle in.
Evening: Join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at a charming local restaurant– the perfect way to kickstart your Armenia & Georgia experience with flavours, stories, and new friendships. Overnight stay in Yerevan.

After breakfast, begin your day with a guided exploration of Yerevan, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities—over 2,800 years old! Often called the “Pink City” due to its unique rose-hued tufa stone buildings, Yerevan beautifully blends history with modern charm. Tour highlights include:
- Zvartnots Cathedral – Visit the majestic ruins of this 7th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site, just outside Yerevan. Once a towering masterpiece, today its remains still impress with their grandeur and historical depth.
- Republic Square – Designed by architect Alexander Tamanian in the 1950s, this iconic square is known for its grand architecture and famous singing fountains (operational from mid-April to October).
- Northern Avenue – A vibrant pedestrian street lined with cafes, restaurants, designer stores, and modern architecture.
- Opera House & Swan Lake – A perfect spot for a short photo stop and a glimpse of local culture.

After breakfast, head to the scenic Ararat Valley to visit Khor Virap Monastery (3rd–17th c.), famously linked to St. Gregory the Illuminator and offering spectacular views of Mount Ararat.
Continue to the serene Azat Reservoir, located at 1,050m above sea level in the Ararat region. The reservoir, built on the UNESCO-listed Azat River, is known for its natural beauty.
Next, visit Garni Temple (1st century) – the only surviving pagan Hellenistic temple in Armenia, dedicated to the Sun God Mithra.
Wrap up the day with a local experience:
Enjoy a lavash baking ceremony in a traditional “tonir” oven at a local home, followed by making and tasting fresh Lavash wraps with local cheese. Return to Yerevan for overnight stay.

Leaving Lake Sevan behind, your journey continues through a mountain tunnel that leads to the lush landscapes of Dilijan, a beloved Armenian resort town. Known for its cool climate and greenery, Dilijan is often called the “Little Switzerland of Armenia.” Enjoy a relaxed walk through its charming streets, where traditional 19th-century architecture has been lovingly preserved, offering a glimpse into the town’s quaint and timeless atmosphere.
A short drive from Dilijan brings you to the forested valley of Haghartsin Monastery, a hidden gem dating back to the 10th–13th centuries. Visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites:
- Svetitskhoveli Cathedral – One of Georgia’s most sacred churches

Continue to Ananuri Fortress, set beside the sparkling Zhinvali Reservoir, a perfect photo stop.
Arrive in Gudauri, a high-altitude resort loved year-round by skiers, paragliders, and mountain lovers. Stop at the iconic Friendship Monument, offering jaw-dropping views of the snow-kissed Caucasus.
Next, head to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), nestled at 1,750m above sea level.
